For years CAAA has been committed to providing excellence in pre-hospital emergency medicine – not for recognition, but because it means we are providing the best possible patient outcomes along with compassionate care. The dedication to this mission has led to CAAA being awarded the American Heart Association’s Mission Lifeline Silver Plus in 2019. This is the 3rd consecutive year CAAA has been recognized for providing high quality care to patients suffering a cardiac emergency.
CAAA beats the criteria for this award – averaging a response to patient time of under 8 minutes and providing an EKG within 10 minutes of first patient contact. A recent patient treated by our crews shared “…I didn’t know I was having a heart attack, but your crews did and probably saved my life.”
