“There is no higher honor than to be given the responsibility to care for another human being” –Richard K. Schachern
At Community Ambulance Association of Ambler (CAAA), our crews take the honor and responsibility of caring for another human being very seriously. CAAA strives to provide professional medical staff, current technological medical equipment, and high-quality supplies to care for those in our community. All crews are carefully vetted and complete an orientation period shadowing existing staff and crews. We have crew members who have been medics for more than 30 years, and there is a Paramedic that has worked at CAAA for more than 15 years.
If you are interested in joining the crew as an EMT or Paramedic, you can find our application here. Please email your application to support@amblerambulance.org. Full time employees are eligible for a generous benefits package that includes full medical plan coverage for employee, vacation/sick/personal time, holiday pay, retirement plan, life and short-term disability insurance.
Our crews strive to provide the very best in patient-care, not for recognition, but for the benefit of each patient treated. Because of this dedication, CAAA has been awarded Mission Lifeline Plus at the Bronze and Silver levels from the American Heart Association for meeting high standards of care for patients in cardiac distress and is also recognized as Prepared for Pediatrics – Expert Level by the Commonwealth of PA. Prepared for Pediatrics is a designation given to organizations showing significant dedication to providing excellent pediatric emergency medical care.
As a nonprofit, CAAA is governed by a volunteer board that oversees the operations and fiscal responsibility of the organization. Our volunteer board members are business owners, doctors, lawyers, volunteer fire fighters and more. They are members of the community and share the common goal of providing reliable, high quality medical care to the members of their community for years and years to come.
